Future Publishing racked up more than two million container downloads in the first four days after Apple unveiled its Newsstand functionality as part of its iOS 5 update.

Zuvor bot das britische Verlagshaus seine Hefte fast ausschließlich über den digitale Zeitungsstand Zinio an. Der Zuwachs von 750-Prozent an Heft-Verkäufen, der durch einige Berichte getrommelt wurde, ist daher verfälscht (aber schmälert den Start-Erfolg natürlich nicht).
